The selectivity coordination of protective devices - upstream and downstream of the UPS - plays a vital role in increasing the availability of the electrical network during faults.

Installing UPS to secure the availability of continuous clean power in a mission-critical environment such as a data center is not enough unless this is complemented with coordinated protection devices.
